Last night’s meal was officially a pasta-chicken dinner from another Dirty Kitchen food delivery. When I learned that they also have Korean Spicy Chicken in their menu, it got me so excited. So what better to way to enjoy it than having its creamy spaghetti which my friends were raving about it.
So here are my thoughts on my dinner last night.
6-PC KOREAN SPICY CHICKEN (Php 150)
The chicken looked so enticing as soon as I opened the tub. I couldn’t help but swooning over it. The glaze was a good combination of sweet and spicy flavors to it. The chicken was so delicious that you couldn’t help but go for another piece or even more. (I ended up having three pieces lols)
When I sank my teeth into the drumstick, I was expecting a crispy exterior. However, I understood with the travel time that it lost its crunchy texture. The glaze probably seeped through the crunchy coating. But still, I love the Korean spicy chicken. It reminds me of going on foodtrip in a Korean Chicken restaurant, daogon jud sya sa kalami!
CREAMY SPAGHETTI (Php120/500 ml tub)
I love my spaghetti when it’s cooked with a lot of cream just like my sister’s weekend specialty at home. That’s why I was looking forward to taste Dirty Kitchen’s creamy spaghetti because my friends recommended this to me for weeks now. And true enough, it met my expectations.
The pasta was perfectly cooked. It’s delicious, creamy, the herbs were not too overwhelming for my taste. This pasta definitely goes well with garlic buttered toast and a glass of ice-cold Coke.
PICKLED VEGGIES
Of course, when you have Korean spicy chicken, you can never go wrong with pickled veggies. It balances out the flavors of the spicy dish and gives a fresh taste to the palates. This sidings made me enjoy the chicken even more.
Since my first Dirty Kitchen meal, I always appreciate how fresh their vegetables are. It’s good to know that they are all organic and harvested from The Doctor’s Green Pharm. So thumbs up for this concept 🙂
As a whole, my Thursday dinner was another four tablespoons out of five!
