One Tuesday evening, I was in the middle of creating layouts for my Facebook food posts when I learned that FoodTrailwithBeyee is nominated again for this year’s Best Cebu Blog Awards in the Food Blog category. I’m still ecstatic about my first BCBA win in the same category last year and being nominated again this year is a huge honor.
This blog was created exactly two years ago out of pure love for food. And, to be honest, the pandemic was a blessing in disguise. Lost opportunities fueled my desire to finally have a blog dedicated solely to my foodtrail. And I’m glad to say that I found my voice in this genre, and it feels good to be “HOME.”
However, creating food content has been challenging due to a couple of health issues that have made it difficult for me to “explore” and indulge in the food that I enjoy. I’m on the verge of abandoning my blog due to a lack of food content. I don’t want to deceive my readers by writing about food I haven’t tried. It would only defeat the purpose of my blog in the first place. But every time I look at the plaque I received for my blog late last year, it reminds me of how I started this food blog when I was at my lowest point in life. I’m not going to give up now.
