Bluewater Resorts officially welcomed Pasko sa Bluewater through the ceremonial lighting of the Puno ng Pag-Asa. The theme is a wordplay in Filipino which means, “tree of hope” or “full of hope.”
The tree lighting also paved the way for the opening of the Balay Pasko, a home of holiday sweets and treats.
The Christmas House is one of the treasured gems of the resort. In fact, it is a sweet little house that boasts of the best of Bluewater holiday pastries straight from the kitchens of the Bluewater chefs. These delightful treats are ideal for holiday gifts to family and friends.
Thanks to the Bluewater Maribago Team, I had the pleasure of tasting the Balay Pasko goodies. A box of Chocoron, Honeycomb Crunch with Cashew Nuts, Strawberry & Kiwi Linzer Cookies, and Ube Cheese Pandesal is one of the best and sweetest food previews that I’ve had as a foodie 🙂
IN BETWEEN BITES WITH THE BALAY PASKO TREATS
When I opened the box and saw the treats, all the good memories I’ve had that first night at Balay Pasko came flooding back. Also, I can still remember the euphoric feeling of sugar rush I felt last year.
I couldn’t help but gush and mush about the cute ube pandesal. It totally made me smile in every bite because it is so delicious and creamy. The Chocoron and the Honeycomb Crunch with Cashew Nuts are perfect for each other despite its contrasting textures and flavors. And for the final bites, the Linzer cookies – choosing between Strawberry and Kiwi? Definitely, I’m loving both flavors!
True enough, I felt the amuma from the Bluewater Team and at the same time, I felt the warmth of the Christmas spirit in between bites.
