Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa marked its first anniversary with a nostalgic reflection on its journey for the past year. Despite facing challenges, the resort has become resilient, withstood all the storms, and has achieved success after one year. The management and staff’s dedication and hard work have been instrumental and paid off in the end. However, the resort’s success story is the ripple effect of its Cebuano warmth and hospitality not just to its guests but to the community as well.
RIPPLES OF GENEROSITY AFTER TYPHOON ODETTE
Parklane Bohol Resort and Spa manager Lucky Daven Lim shared that it was a challenging year for the management and staff when typhoon Odette wreaked havoc in the area. However, Parklane Bohol made sure that they provide a safe haven for the stranded tourists and nearby locals. They offered services to them and catered to their needs. Such generosity is a true testament to Parklane’s trademark Cebuano warmth and hospitality.
RIPPLES OF POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY
Parklane Bohol keeps its promise to strengthen ties with the Anda community, its local government unit, and the BISU Candijay Campus.
Chief Operating Officer of Cebu Parklane International Hotel Atty. Cenelyn Manguilimotan recalled how, in their own little way, they were able to affect change. They hired students from BISU Candijay Campus in the resort. And now, Parklane Bohol is looking forward to hiring more in the future.
True, DOT 7 Chief Operations Officer Judy Gabato praised their unceasing generosity at the anniversary celebration. She underlined in her address that the resort’s anniversary theme, Making Waves at One, was appropriate. The resort has brought waves of positive changes not only to the Anda community but to the province of Bohol, as well.
RIPPLES OF GRATITUDE
Parklane Hotels and Resorts President Basil Ting expresses gratitude to all who have contributed to the resort’s success. They’ve gone a long way since their humble beginnings. They are also grateful for each milestone they have reached. “Our first year of operations is full of challenges but also full of success. Together we have weathered the storm, became stronger and more resilient than ever. We have continued to provide exceptional service to our guests. And we uphold the highest standard of quality and excellence in everything that we do,” he said.
Mr. Basil Ting is proud of his hardworking crew, for whom he is grateful for their dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence. “You are the heart and soul of our hotel and we are proud to have you as part of our family. Let us look back with pride and look forward with hope,” he added.
The Parklane Hotels and Resorts President also said that it was Mr. Manuel Ting’s 85th birthday. So what better way to honor the founder’s heritage than to close his address with optimism for more years of serving their guests and business partners with their signature warm hospitality and world-class service.
The anniversary celebration was also attended by LGU officials headed by Anda Mayor Angelina Simacio, representatives from BISU Candijay Campus, valued suppliers, media, and bloggers.
