Cebu’s thriving culinary landscape takes center stage once again as the Cebu Food & Wine Festival (CFWF) 2026 officially launches a month-long celebration of gastronomy, culture, creativity, and world-class hospitality.
Unveiled during a press conference held on June 6 at Hai Shin Lou, Marco Polo Plaza Cebu, this year’s festival embraces the theme “Local Roots, World-Class,” highlighting Cebu’s evolution into one of the country’s premier culinary and tourism destinations.
Running from June 6 to 27, 2026, the festival transforms Cebu and Mactan into a vibrant gastronomic hub through an exciting lineup of chef collaborations, wine-pairing dinners, immersive dining experiences, and exclusive pocket events hosted across some of the region’s finest hotels and restaurants.
More than a food festival, CFWF 2026 offers a culinary journey that celebrates stories, craftsmanship, innovation, and meaningful connections forged through food.
24 Chefs, One Culinary Celebration
At the center of this year’s festival is a remarkable lineup of 24 chefs, each bringing a unique blend of culinary artistry, experience, and innovation to the table.
Their collective artistry showcases how Cebu’s food scene continues to evolve while remaining deeply connected to local ingredients, traditions, and culture. Guests can expect thoughtfully curated menus that blend authentic Cebuano flavors with contemporary culinary techniques from around the world.
Festival organizers emphasized that beyond delivering exceptional dining experiences, the event aims to strengthen partnerships among chefs, restaurateurs, tourism stakeholders, farmers, artisans, and local producers who continue to shape Cebu’s dynamic food culture.
Australian Lamb Takes the Spotlight
A major highlight of this year’s festival is “I Love Aussie Lamb: Cebu Food & Wine Festival Edition,” an initiative spearheaded by Aussie Beef & Lamb Philippines in partnership with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).
The program showcases the versatility, consistency, and premium quality of Australian lamb through chef collaborations, culinary education, and innovative menu creations featured throughout the festival.
The journey began with an intensive Aussie Lamb Butchery Masterclass held at Anzani Restaurant, where participating chefs explored carcass utilization, innovative cuts, cooking methods, and menu applications under the guidance of Australian meat experts.
Participating establishments include some of Cebu’s leading hospitality and dining destinations:

Participating restaurants will offer exclusive Australian lamb and beef dishes, allowing guests to embark on a culinary journey across Cebu and Mactan while discovering unique interpretations of premium Australian red meat.

The festival not only showcases world-class cuisine but also highlights the island’s rich culinary heritage, internationally recognized hospitality industry, and commitment to supporting local food communities.
“Cebu continues to establish itself as one of the Philippines’ most exciting culinary destinations, and we are proud to see Australian lamb embraced by some of the region’s top chefs and dining establishments,” said Valeska, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia of Meat & Livestock Australia.
Beej Sison, Business Development Manager for MLA Philippines, added that the initiative goes beyond showcasing premium ingredients.
“This initiative is about more than showcasing premium Australian lamb. It is about inspiring chefs, fostering innovation, and strengthening partnerships across the foodservice and retail sectors.”
