Grab Philippines put the spotlight on the country’s most outstanding restaurants and retailers at the Golden Grab Awards 2025, honoring merchant-partners that continue to set the Gold Standard for innovation, service quality, and growth in today’s increasingly connected online-to-offline economy.
Leading the night’s biggest wins were familiar Filipino favorites. Serenitea, the homegrown milk tea brand, was named GrabFood Merchant of the Year for National Brands, while JT’s Manukan Grille took home the same honor for Nationwide Chains. Rounding out the top winners was Oh Mango, recognized as Merchant of the Year for Citywide Merchants in Metro Manila.

From delivery app to growth ecosystem
Attended by hundreds of Grab merchant-partners nationwide, the awards ceremony reflected Grab’s evolution—from a delivery platform into a full-fledged growth ecosystem that supports both digital and brick-and-mortar businesses.
Grab Philippines Head of Deliveries and Chief Commercial Officer EJ dela Vega emphasized the company’s role as a long-term growth partner for merchants.
“Trust is earned day by day, order by order. The only way we can repay that trust is by remaining steadfast in our commitment to be the unwavering force behind the growth ambitions of our merchant-partners,” dela Vega said.
“Our pledge is simple: when you dream big, we make sure you have the tools and commercial support to achieve it.”

Defining excellence across food and retail
Consistency, quality, and reliability emerged as key themes throughout the ceremony.
Under the GrabFood Quality Awards, Caramia Cakes & Gelato was hailed as Best Rated National Brand, while 24 Chicken earned Most Reliable National Brand for its operational excellence. On the retail side, Ever Supermarket and Cion’s Meat Shop stood out as Most Reliable GrabMart Merchants, recognized for dependable product availability and strong customer experience.
Grab also honored its “5-Star Eats”—top-performing city and community merchants consistently earning the highest customer ratings. This year’s list featured Mylene’s Ensaymada and Banana Cake, Paya Street Coffee, Quarantea, and CBS Kitchen, among others.
In retail leadership, Pet Express (Pets), Watsons (Pharmacies), and Robinsons Supermarket (Supermarkets) were named Category Captains, setting the pace for sales performance on GrabMart.
Innovation, data, and loyalty in the spotlight
Marketing and innovation played a major role in this year’s recognitions. Southstar Drug and Davao Central Convenience Store were awarded Adoption Leaders for effectively maximizing Grab Marketing Solutions. Meanwhile, McDonald’s received the Data-Driven Impact Trailblazer award for its precision-led campaigns, and Chowking was honored as the Loyalty Innovation Trailblazer.
The future is hybrid dining
The Golden Grab Awards also highlighted the industry’s shift toward hybrid dining experiences, where online visibility fuels offline foot traffic. JT’s Manukan Grille, Zhenbao Hotpot, and Feta Mediterranean were named Best Dine-Out Merchants for leveraging in-app deals to drive in-store visits.

Grab Director for Off-Platform Solutions Greg Camacho summed up the evening’s message: the future belongs to omnichannel businesses that deliver excellence everywhere.
“Together, we’re redefining what it means to be a Grab merchant—fully capable of growing sales both online and offline, and rewriting the playbook on how to win in an ever-evolving F&B industry.”
