I finally got the chance to catch up with my dear friends from BPI during their 174th anniversary celebration—a gathering I’ve missed so many times in Cebu because I was always away in Manila for work. This time, I was truly grateful to be part of it.
Together with Cebu’s media, bloggers, and fellow content creators, we enjoyed a delightful lunch at The Pig & Palm, where great food was matched with even greater conversations. The warm company of Ms. Joey, Ms. Elena, Ms. Thea, and Ms. Nina from BPI made it feel like I was reconnecting with family I hadn’t seen in a while.
As someone who has been a BPI depositor since the age of 12, the occasion felt even more personal. Seeing how far the bank has come through the years made me both proud and honored to witness this milestone up close.

We celebrated BPI’s 174th anniversary with a memorable lunch at The Pig & Palm, where every dish was a treat to the senses. From the crisp Nori Rice Crackers and savory Prosciutto & Manchego Cheese Croquettes to the refreshing Cauliflower Salad and hearty Pig & Palm Lasagna, each bite was a delight. The feast continued with the rich flavors of Carrara Farms Wagyu Ribeye and indulgent Truffle Mac & Cheese, perfectly capped with sweet endings of Bananita and Chocolate Espuma. Truly, it was a celebration of both milestones and memorable flavors.

I walked away from this anniversary lunch not just full from the delicious food, but also full of gratitude—for the passion, the vision, and the genuine warmth that BPI continues to share with its clients and community.
